Cairns: Silverswift 3 Great Barrier Reef Sites in 1 Day

About This Experience
Silverswift is the dive-focused boat in the Great Adventures fleet and the only day trip from Cairns that reaches three outer reef sites in one day - Flynn, Pellowe, Milln and Thetford are the usual rotation, chosen on the morning for conditions.
It is built for people who want to be in the water repeatedly: five hours of reef time, unlimited snorkelling across the three sites, a snorkel brief at each one, and a guided snorkel tour included in the fare. Certified divers can do up to three dives; introductory divers go in with an instructor and need no experience.
Mask, snorkel, fins and lycra suit are included, as are prescription masks at no extra cost, a hot and cold tropical buffet lunch, and lifeguard supervision at every site. Note a fuel surcharge is collected at check-in on the day (A$10 adult, A$5 child), which is not in the online price.

What Travelers Say
Rated 4.7/5 by 641 verified GetYourGuide travelers.
It was amazing. I went snorkeling three times, and each time there were different things to see. The tour guide service is very considerate. If you are snorkeling for the first time and want to see corals and various kinds of fish, you can choose their company. They have tour guides in Chinese, English, and Japanese. Don't worry.

Everything was very well organized. The boat is very fast, we stopped at 3 different locations, we saw a big diversity of fish, however the corals I was expecting more (not blaming the tour company rather global warming). The equipment was is good condition and the lunch was pretty good too.

These guys are really well prepared. A wonderful snorkeling experience and certainly one to recommend. Fast and well-equipped boat. Obviously, you go out into the open ocean, so if you suffer from seasickness, take an anti-nausea medication.
